STEMify Spaghetti Tower Challenge

I participated in the STEMify Spaghetti Tower Challenge, an activity designed to explore fundamental engineering and architectural principles. Using only spaghetti sticks and small marshmallow slices as connectors, our goal was to build the tallest and most stable tower possible.

Before beginning the challenge, we learned about key structural forms commonly used in buildings—such as arches, frames, and trusses—and discussed how each contributes to strength and stability in real-world construction. I then attempted to apply these concepts to my own design, experimenting with different shapes to see how they could support weight or resist tipping.

Throughout the process, it was fascinating to observe how even small adjustments in structure could significantly affect overall performance. This activity not only strengthened my understanding of scientific structures but also improved my problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in an engineering-based environment.
